Are you currently offering in person or virtual therapy?
I am currently offering virtual psychotherapy. You may join me from the comfort of your own home, in your own space for video or phone therapy. Many of my patients have shared that they enjoy and value the accessibility of virtual therapy.
How do I prepare for a therapy session?
Privacy is of utmost importance to our work and essential. Ideally, you’ll be joining our virtual session from a safe, private space within your home. Occasionally, that space may be behind a bathroom door or in a laundry room. We do the best we can.
Additionally, I recommend leaving some transition time (about 5-10 minutes) before and after your sessions to enter into and leave the space mindfully.
How long are your sessions?
I offer standard 45 minute individual psychotherapy sessions, and 60 minute sessions as needed.
Do you take insurance?
No, but I can submit claims on your behalf for Out Of Network Benefits. Please find additional details in my fee structure.
What does it mean to be Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C)?
The perinatal period (during pregnancy and after childbirth) can be a delicate and vulnerable time. Providers with specialized training in maternal mental health are best equipped to identify needs for support including Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD) and treatment plans. This certificate signifies additional studies and expertise to ensure high-quality care that all parents deserve.
Do you offer speaking engagements?
Yes! I have experience with panels and speaking. Reach out via email and let’s chat!
